2012 Graduate Exhibition
Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design
My graduate exhibition recently held in Auckland was a great success. We had around 350-400 people at the opening night on 18th January. I had lots of great comments on my paintings. Here is an excerpt from a review by Sin-Mae Chung of ‘Mccaulay+Maestro’:

2012 Molly Morpeth Canaday Award
I was very pleased to have my painting ‘Intersections II‘ selected for
exhibition at the 2012 Molly Morpeth Canaday Awards in Whakatane.
This is the first time I have entered the competition and the judge chose
only 82 entries out of 320 to hang.
2009 peter’s doig award
I was very excited to have my first self portrait selected for exhibition at the 2009 Peter’s Doig Awards.
According to the judges entries were of very high standard.
2007 nelson regional art awards
Lisa Chandler won the ‘Landscape Seascape Painting Award’ in the Impresssions/Arts Council Nelson
2007 Regional Art Awards with her painting,’Tranquil Tarn‘ (right) on the 8th September 2007.
The judges made the following comments:
“There was many interesting entries in the landscape section, and this section had the overall highest standard in our opinion. Lisa Chandler’s winning painting really captures the feeling of the New Zealand alpine environment. The painterly nature of the image evokes a mountain tarn very effectively”
